Phil , Thanks for posting . I try to keep up on caving all over the world in spite of being told twice yesterday on another thread that nobody cares about caves outside The USA. The way I see it caves are caves regardless of them being in my backyard or on the other side of the world. I try to read all I can about caving accidents. I think the best way to learn is from the mistakes of others.
It only takes one person to surrender a dog to a kill shelter ,but it takes many to rescue it.

Update: The injured caver made it out of the cave at 6:30 AM Italian time. Thanks Andrea Scatolini
