Cave Rescue out of Ice Cave-Wind Cave in the Tetons

Postby Ernie Coffman » Oct 18, 2011 9:13 am

This will take you to the Tetons in Wyoming, with an interesting rescue of three guys in their 20s.

http://www.jhnewsandguide.com/article.php?art_id=7840 They had gone in one entrance and got confused as to where they were headed after being there for approximately 36-hours. The rescuers even found a note indicated they were lost. SAR teams went in from one side and the other, so they might meet the three in the middle, somewhere.

Maybe we'll hear more about this area from some of our NSS folks up there.
