I know this is a bit late, but wondering if anyone would be interested in sharing the expense of a car rental with my wife and I? We arrive in San Juan on Thursday 4/14 at 8:14pm and leave Sunday April 24th at 11:50am.

I know that Mike Hopkins and his son are also looking for rental car partners. I believe he arrives in San Juan Thursday (4/14) afternoonish and leaves on Monday afternoonish (4/25). Our schedules did not quiet match enough so I am hoping there are still some folks out there who have schedules close enough that may work out.

Thanks for your time,

Tony,

Have you contacted any of the Puerto Ricans? I know a lot of those guys live in San Juan and will likely be traveling around the same times as you. I would contact the site coordinator and see if there are any rides to be had. Might be worth a shot.

Hey Andy. Yeah I tried the recommended route from Steve. Nothing ever came of it. No biggie.

I would try again. I just heard back from Cristobal.

That said, I'm getting in Thursday night at about 11:58 PM and I think my ride is set.

However, on Friday or some other point I may want to head into "town" and do some shopping.

I'm debating how much clothing I want to bring vs. buy on the island so I can reduce the number of bags I'm dealing with.

Is anyone else arriving at the SJU airport on Thursday afternoon interested in sharing a car? Last time I rented one by myself and hardly used it all week. I am arriving via AirTran at 4pm Thursday and looking to ride share in some fashion. Totally flexible about the timing - just have to be at the seminar site in time for the instructor update Friday.

Willing to cave or party all night Thursday night if necessary.

Well I get in at midnight. I have not heard back from Cristobal to confirm he's picking me up, so if the airport has a good bar and you hang around... :-)

Seriously, I expect to hear from Cristobal shortly, but if I don't, I will be looking for a ride myself.
