Hello Antonio
Some behind the scenes info for you...

This rescue was a rescue of a drunken local (non caver!) who illegally entered the bat maternity cave and because he was drunk, fell off the the edge of a 3m pitch. It was an easy rescue by local State Emergency Services rescuers...who are not cavers or cave orientated!
Our Australian Speleological Federation Queensland (state) Cave Rescue Commisison representative is currently working with this local and other emergency services with advice on cave rescue.
