I got this copy from Sandy Cook the Wakulla Park Manager. Since it is on a Monday night, it would be nice for the cave divers and other cavers living in the area to show up and fly the flag. /Ken
IMPORTANT MEETING REGARDING THE PROTECTION OF WAKULLA SPRINGS
For the past 8 months the Department of Community Affairs (DCA), the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and their consultant have been working with Wakulla County to identify land use and developmental standards that can help protect groundwater resources and Wakulla Springs. On November 7th at 5 PM the DCA and DEP will be presenting the Wakulla County Commissioners with recommended standards to help protect Wakulla Springs from impacts of development while allowing future growth.
All parties interested in protecting Wakulla Springs are invited to attend this meeting and support the Wakulla Board of County Commissioners in their efforts to protect this majestic resource.
