Mitchelstown's Desmond Cave

Postby JOhnnyJO » Mar 21, 2014 1:16 pm

Hi All.
I am currently researching Mitchelstown's Desmond Cave and I would like to get my hands on some photos.I plan to go there from quite some time now and I convinced some of my friends from Dipndive.com to come along. I have read several posts by the late Artur Kozlowski (RIP) really captured my attention.
Obviously I do not want to step on any toes or cause any upset to Artur's family or friends. So, I was wondering, does anyone else have any underwater photos?
Any help would be very much appreciated
Regards

I would contact the Speleological Union of Ireland. Since Artur was a pretty active diver and internet contributor, most of what you will find on the internet will either be his old posts or articles regarding his death when he ran out of line (Which you probably already know at this point). There may be some hesitation to their photographs of that particular cave given Artur's involvement, but it is all out of desire for safety. Their group, or which ever one like it closest to you, will definitely be the place to get the best diving instruction and experience if you want to do MDC in the future. They'll probably have more information about the cave in their archives.
