It is with great sadness that I must report that long time Wyoming Caver Miles Hecker died October 6th, of an apparent heart attack, while on a bicycle/photography trip to Austria. Miles was active with the Hole in the Wall Grotto from the mid 1970's until present. He was part of the breakthrough in Fossil Mountain Ice Cave, active in the exploration of Great Expectations Cave and Lechuguilla Cave along with numerous other cave projects. He will be missed by all that knew him.
