An article is asking cavers to stay out of VA caves, along with several nice pictures...and a little history of what we've been reading about for awhile. The link is:

This is going to be an interesting year, what with this request since so many folks who aren't assocated with a caving group, back East, won't get the message unless they're really serious about caving and protecting the enviroment--in particular, the bat populations.
I guess the only thing for folks to do is to have a sign campaign going and hope for the best. Note the one paragraph pointing out that it seems that the only caves that are effected, are those where people are coming and going, so...for those non-believers, let's hope for real understanding.
