Quite interesting. Almost 8 years after WNS was discovered in New York in 2006 it has arrived in Arkansas. I find it really hard to believe that cavers spread the disease
as they can fly from New York to Arkansas in a matter of hours yet the disease didn't arrive until almost 8 years later. Government caves were not closed in Arkansas until recently so it isn't like cavers were not visiting long after the New York outbreak.

So why did it take so long for WNS to arrive in Arkansas? Maybe because it took that long for infected bats to reach that far south and west. When is government going
to admit putting the blame on cavers for spreading the disease is a sham?
