At the fall NSS BOG meeting, Jennifer Foote from New Mexico was confirmed as the new NSS WNS Liaison. Peter Youngbaer has served fabulously in this role over the last 6 years, and has promised to continue to assist on the NSS WNS committee. Peter is irreplaceable, but I will do the best I can to serve the NSS in this position.

I plan to continue our goals of supporting WNS research, educating cavers and the public, protecting cave resources, and strengthening the NSS and protecting caver rights.

I would love to have contacts in every state/region so we can communicate caver needs to NSS management and government agencies, and so I can communicate WNS information quickly back to local cavers in a more active manner.
