Not the same group, probably provide some of the CBD funding. The NDRC is better funded and larger, with big shot environmentalists like Robert Redford and Leonardo DeCaprio sitting on their board. But in the end it is just another lobbying group lobbying Congress, and suing taxpayers to get their limited point of view pushed upon the populous.
Another interesting thing is if you look at their financial statement for 2010, they had an income of just under 100 million dollars, and half that 49 million went to salaries and benefits for paid staff. They list a net wealth of 250 million. In my opinion, a not for profit group spending half of their donations on staff salaries and benefits is despicable.
