Decimated bat colony stabilizing in New Jersey?

Hibernia Mine in Morris County...once contained 30,000 hibernating bats, but that number had plummeted to around 750 after the disease White-nose Syndrome (WNS) struck the colony.
“After this winter we’re at least cautiously optimistic,” Hall said. “This is the first year that we didn’t see any more of a drop. So roughly the same number of bats left the mine this spring as entered in the fall.”
