Petition the White House to allow public cave access

I signed it yesterday. I wonder, is there any way we can get the NSS to post this on the Caves.org home page?

The odds are going to be tough to beat. I was thinking of telling everyone working at the commercial Cave of the Winds to sign, and thinking about how handing flyers to the public would help maybe... We need alot more sigs. But I was lucky enough to have just about all my friends and family help. I stumbled upon an old NSS petition page, so I know they can help...

Getting the petition on the NSS website is pretty unlikely in my opinion but anything can happen. Your best bet is to contact WM Shrewsbury (president@caves.org) and ask.

EDIT: I was looking at the figures and if we want to force a response to the petition from the government everyone really needs to get involved and spread the word. The petition has averaged about 104 signatures a day which is pretty good but nowhere near enough to reach 25000 by May 13th. We need to average about 984 signatures per day to meet the deadline. That is a huge task for any group but it can be done if everyone works together.

I had to create an e-mail account on a national account and finally signed the petition. For some reason the White House doesn't allow a business e-mail account to sign petitions.
