NSS-funded WNS Research Project Makes the News

One of the current WNS research projects funded by the NSS' WNS Rapid Response Fund grant program just made the TV News in Knoxville:

The footage of the field work is quite good in terms of showing the specific work. This project is testing time-released doses of the fungicide terbinafine through the use of a novel micro implant. This reduces the need for multiple handling of bats when treating them for the fungus. Marcy Jan Sousa is the Principal Investigator and NSS grant recipient, through the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, College of Veterinary Medicine. Unfortunately, the clip neglects to mention the NSS as the funding source, but it's still nice to see our funds at work.
