All these lies about about human transmission of WNS are propagated by scientists and USFWS bureaucrats that are afraid of loosing their jobs. By closing caves, they can claim they *are* doing something about it. Lies on top of lies, and they are brainwashing the public.

Why jump on the negative in this article? What this article says is that the USFS has chosen not to close these caves in Oregon, but only to educate about WNS and do the one thing that realistically might prevent inadvertent human transmission, if there is any - and that is keep out gear from Eastern WNS sites. The caves are open.

Personally, I applaud their discretion. I don't doubt that it is the result of informed and collaborative discussions between the caving community and the regional USFS folks. I know for a fact those are taking place, and that even with widely varying opinions, this modest and reasonable approach was taken.

I only care that they realize something un-factual as fact and spread the propaganda to the public. Is this legal by our federal governing body?
