Here's another article about WNS is Tennessee with wrong information (I'm SO shocked!). First, it says that WNS was first discovered in a commercial cave. Wrong! Then, it says that there's "increasing evidence that it may also be transmitted by humans carrying the fungus from cave to cave on footwear, clothing and gear." Sure would love know know what "increasing evidence" the author is talking about. Sigh.

Thanks Pippin, this isn't her first "Nooga" article concerning bats. Below is an October 2011 article, and again she gets it wrong.

Maybe she should stay out of the wild, and leave nature alone because humans are so bad.

It wasn't as bad as some articles I've read lately but the information still seems to be coming from someone who really is NOT in the know.
