Here are a couple of videos I shot at a mine near Pittsburgh, Canoe Creek (PA), and Hellhole (WV) a week or so ago. I think the real carnage will be evident in late February, so I plan to make another round then.

Hellhole 1-27-11 was incredible. I wonder though, with birds feasting as they do, why hasn't wns spread completely across the entire country already? Could it be that only bat to bat spread happens?

I understand that coopers hawks can migrate as much as 350 miles in just one day.

They are set up on quick time, slow loading here too.

The Lawrence video has a possum going at it. This is why we don't see a lot of evidence many times.
