R.C. Schroeder Chest Roller?

Postby groupb » Mar 30, 2010 3:16 pm

My limited search skills have not found reviews of R.C. Schroeder's Chest Roller. Can anyone help me find feedback from users - or refer me to other sources? Thanks, Bill

This is a wonderful site for gear reviews.

Thanks, Junkman,

Storrick provides a great service, but I need to hear from those who have actually used R.C.'s chest box - or can direct me to someone who has.

I'm also interested in finding users of Benjy von Crammon's Flashbar. (Both litewt. chest roller / boxes for ropewalker systems)

A bit off topic, but it looks like you're looking for an ultralight chest roller. Scott McCrea of Swaygo fame made a few rollers similar to this a few years back, but I don't think they ever got to the distribution stage. Smallest/ lightest one I ever saw. Maybe he can post a pic of his.

Sorry, Gary - I didn't mean to 'dis the site. Thousands of us verti perps rely on your valuable database - which helped me narrow my search for a lighter wt. chest plate/box/roller. We would be lost without your extensive work.

My poorly worded request should have read, "I would like to hear from members who CURRENTLY use R.C.'s most recent device." I understand his current device uses a pit pin to secure the hinged roller.

Hi Gary,

Sorry to hear they killed you. Best wishes for a speedy resurrection! :waving:

At least it's the weekend for that sort of thing.

That explains so much. Of course in my case, everything I needed to learn, I learned in kindergarten. (including, even in a thermos, if you leave your milk out long enough it starts to taste funny.)
