on dry 12mm rope i have to feed a 4 bar rack and I weigh 195# without my gear...on wet slick rope I do not have to feed unless I am using 5 bars.

there's really no argument here...the original poster made a hyperbolic statement and that's about it. sometimes you just have to feed.
