What is the strangest ascending system you have seen used?

There was a little piece of accessory cord tied to either end of the carriage bolt and run through the clip hole at the top of the ascender, so the ascender would just come right up when the feet were lifted.

Obendorf knots.

And Hand+foot, no harness, no nothing. No knots on the rope. Really intersting :tonguecheek: :tonguecheek:
