The Atlas is pretty much a "tribute" to the PowerQuick that's been in service with some agencies for several years. There was a huge slush fund for development but the really good models aren't in the public domain.. what you're seeing in the press are the also-rans looking for a market. I've used most of them and they're great fun, but impractical to the 9th degree.

It hates water, by the way. Not an issue in Basra, probably one for us. If you prefer something smaller and more cave-proof try the Actsafe Odysse (http://www.actsafe.se)
