Is this harness good for just about everything (pits, rock climbing, etc...)?

Fuzzy is right, and if you look at this harness, it has a very high attachment loop. Not good for frogging at all. I think this harness is primarily for rope courses and summer-camp type climbing use. I would not get it to use for caving.

Yeah, the assumption of using a Frog was probably a little presumptuous. Although it's understandable, considering something like 80% of the world's vertical cavers use the Frog system.
