New technique? (humor)

I've never seen this set up before. Maybe we'll learn it next week at NCRC training?

Just remember to calculate the force factor on that fall and use dynamic rope!

I can't figure out how the horizontal (middle) person got into position and how he/she will get out of it and back up the rock.

The belay ropes look scarily slack to me.

However I'll print this photo and carry it with me in the top of my helmet to refer to the next time I need to cross a chasm in a cave....

Mebbe it's me but I'm having a hard time seeing the rope on the person in red reaching out to the other rock...

I can see the principal of it and while it's done in humor... I hope this doesn't get around because it'd suck to have to read about this in the Darwin Award pages ...

its a red rope, startes along the wall, passes beside the horizontal guy and past his head and goes between the legs of the one reaching for the other edge, and connects to what looks like the chest area, at least that's what I see

What happens should the guy in the white helmet fall? Looks to me he'll take a deep swing and slam face first into the wall about eight feet below everyone.

And where is everyone else's helmet?

Reminds me of one of those ant migration videos on the National Geographic channel.

That's the old human drawbridge solution invented years ago by the Birmingham Grotto. The key is the lock-on method used by the person playing the drawbridge role. Armpit friction is very important and no deodorant should be used at least 12 hours before the task.
