I will agree that a mini-rack or a micro-rack doesn't work well on dirty rope. But then who uses a dirty rope? (besides MOS) :grin:

Seriously, though- I do believe ropes should be cleaned fairly regularly. But that's another topic entirely. If I anticipate having to use a dirty rope, I'll generally opt for my regular rack instead of my micro.

LOL, you don't do a lot of project work.
It can be like rappelling on a round file. It really eats up the steel bars.
That said, using a micro rack with a long frame works pretty well on dirty rope.
