The hole is .395 diameter.
also it is not .75 diameter
it is .70 diameter...just this piece.

If this is the case, how long do the 304SS brake bars last?(although I am in current posetion of a BMS 304SS hyperbar that is worn through...nothing like shredding the rope as you descend :yikes: :eek: )

If you are having a serious problem with this try getting the bars made from:
Hastelloy C - that is if you can find someone who can actually machine it.
Partially Stabilized Zirconia - ceramic and it is hard but it is brittle.
