Need a mail order recommendation for slide developing

Postby Blackie » Jan 30, 2006 6:40 pm

For several years I had good luck with the local Super D. They sent their film to Qualex. They lost their courier service and the lady who manages the lab said they (Qualex) were really going down the toilet.
One option left in town and I'd rather give my slides to the tooth fairy than Chinamart. There is a camera store about 30 miles away but mail order might just be easier.

Walgreens Drug Stores still send slides to the Great Yellow Father...about a two week turnaround. The photo techs look at you weirdly when told you can only *get* one set of original slides back, and I've had to show them where on their list of special services it is, but they can handle Koda and Exta-chrome (any E-6 processed slide like Fujichrome, etc.)
