Need help figuring out interior lights for my photoshoot

Postby bravejohn » Feb 20, 2007 8:57 am

I've been looking at some leds to use in some projects such as interior lighting or lighting inside my vehicle. What type of wire do you recommend to wire these leds with http://www.plasmaled.com ? Also, what kind of soldering iron should i buy?

Thanks

Um I didnt even lokk at the leds, but it all depends on what kind of power you are wanting to run. If you are talking 12V car battery then I would use somthing heavier, like Romex or somthing. If we are talking 9V batteries then just some medium weight wire from Radio Shack should do the job.

Soldering iron wise I dont think it really matters. Wally-World has a descent one. Radio Shack has a fairly good one. Just make sure you get one with the right size tip on it. Wouldnt do to be soldering really small stuff with a tip the size of a sharpie.
