Pelican case maintenance

Postby bsignorelli » Feb 6, 2007 9:35 pm

FYI ... I noticed that Pelican says you need to lube your o-ring from time to time and you should replace it when damaged or annually.

I also needed to replace the foam in my case (I was overly ambitious when I plucked the foam after I got the case) and I figured someone on here might need to too.

B&H carries the replacement o-rings and foam for most of the Pelican case line. B&H also seems to have some of the best prices on the cases to boot.

Oh...I also noticed that B&H sells a Pelican brand dessicant thingy that would probably be worth while to have in your cave camera box. It looks reuseable though it doesn't say that.
