Spelunk-A-Lite commercial

Postby Realms » Jun 15, 2006 8:29 pm

This is not exactly about photography but there isn't much of a video section so I figured I would post this here. A few weeks ago a few of us shot a flash light commercial as a joke. Its based around a flashlight we saw in a Cracker Barrel restaurant. The light was pretty silly so we bought some. As we sat around the table eating we started coming up with ideas that might make a funny video. To see the results of that conversation, follow the link below.

Enjoy another crazy WILLIAMS Digital Production ;-)

Couldn't have said it better myself. I feel honored to know the actors, actress' and director! Maybe I can get autographed color still from Sabrina or has she forgotten us little people now that she is in the big time?

GREAT!

(I found out that it only works in IE. Firefox users beware! Trying to download it caused Firefox to completely freeze up. :hairpull: )

I had to give it a few minutes to load, then hit play. In the meantime I just went about my job.

For those newer cavers, that would be none other than Nancy Holler Aulenbach and Dr Hazel Barton of "Journey into Amazing Caves" fame.

Firefox wouldn't let me view it either. I was able to download it and play it in Quicktime tho. And it was, without a doubt, the best caving video I've seen since breakfast. hehe.

Don't all the BLEEPS detract from its aesthetic value?

Doesn't work in Netscape, either-- the download in ASCII was fairly entertaining, thought.

Natha, if you want to get around this problem of being Microsoft centric, upload to http://www.youtube.com. They convert .WMVs to Shockwave Flash, and anyone with Flash may view it. You Tube has a copyright exclusion notice, which means they do NOT claim copyright to information posted on their site.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was in a crunch to get it up. I also have it in MPEG2 format which is what you will find on a DVD. I'm working on some more friendly formats that will work across a wider range of browsers. I will continue to host my content from my site. :-)

Thanks

Nathan
