Video shot with the f1.4 Panasonic Lumix & add-on lens

Postby cavescom » Nov 18, 2013 2:04 pm

This video is a bolt climb we recently did in Zicafoose Blowhole using the Lumix LX-7 and a 256 LED video light....what impressed me most was the pickup of the built-in mic and how well it does in lowlight. We hope to finish the bolt climb soon with hopes of finding some upper level galleries in the hillside in this section of Zic.

I am extremely impressed with the performance of this camera. Thanks for sharing!

Do you have other caving videos that you've shot with this camera?

No but I will have underground again soon.....it is an f1.4 lens built in to this camera with a very large sensor so it is the ideal point and shoot for underground. It is also built really well and has a max video setting of 1920 x 1080: 60 fps, 30 fps along with 1280 x 720: 60 fps, 30 fps
640 x 480: 30 fps just a fantastic camera. We had the lens built specifically for this camera
