2012 NSS Convention: Art & Music Salons - EARLY ENTRY DEADLINES

NSS Art & Music Salons promote and recognize excellent cave-related art, artists, and musicians. NSS Salons are open to everyone; those who enter need not be members of the NSS. Kindly refer to Salon web pages for entry fees and details.

DEADLINE: March 30, 2012.

Entries mailed to Cady Soukup (P.O. Box 600 Flint Hill VA 22627-0600; cady@mindwrap.com) to arrive no later than March 30, 2012. If you have trouble with the deadline, please contact Cady before March 30. No more than 30 entries per photographer.

DEADLINE: April 15, 2012.
Entries must be mailed to David Socky (6572 Woodbrook Dr SW, Roanoke, VA 24018-5402 ) to arrive no later than April 15, 2012. Each entry must be accompanied by an official entry form.

Deadlines for the 2012 slide salon and video salon have passed, but don't despair! Photographers can still submit entries for the photographic print salon any time up until Sunday June 24 (the day before Convention starts).

Photographers may enter up to ten (10) prints, of which no more than 8 may be entered into any one category. Prints may be created digitally (using a computer) or traditionally (in a darkroom). There are four (4) entry categories this year: Color, Black & White, Technical Science, and Digitally Enhanced.

The print salon chair is Pat Seiser, who can be contacted at printsalon[at]caves[dot]org.
