Mega Well? No wonder I didn't recognize it- haven't been there, haven't done that. It would be awesome if the SCCI could somehow acquire that one.

Yeah, kind of sneaky of me to post this Megawell photo that is so different from the first one I posted. It is closed as far as I know, and still on the DCG Closed Caves List. It has a superscript p, which likely means permanent. And it has been closed a long time.

So I guess this means anyone is free to post a photo.

So I had asked when Mega Well was closed. So it sounds like you are saying that you have no idea when it was closed.

Correct, Caving Guru, I don't know exactly when. It is my understanding that it has been closed since the 1/13/1991 accident. I have avoided caving since the WNS advent, so you may want to check with one of the more active TAG cavers.

This one is in GA. Name the cave and the entrance name. That's me back when I still had a little bit of hair.

It’s been about 3 decades since I was there, but I am guessing Cemetery Pit.

I'm guessing its the incredible/stairstep entrance to Ellison's cave, prior to the big flood that expanded the sinkhole a ton.
