Shannon Trimboli, Education Program Specialist for the Mammoth Cave International Center for Science and Learning is looking for 2 interns for the summer of 2010.

Hi Everyone,
Mammoth Cave is looking for 2 bat monitoring interns for this summer.
Sample activities for the interns includes conducting acoustical surveys, performing emergence counts, and accessing use of artificial habitat. This data will be used to provide baseline data about our bat populations before white nose syndrome is found at the park. Interns will also have the opportunity to help educate the public about bats and current threats to bat populations. Interns will not be required to handle bats.

The positions are through SCA. Shared housing will be provided. More information can be found here http://www.thesca.org/node/33232 . Please help us spread the word to anyone you think may be interested.

Thanks,
Shannon
