I would never do this. I worry about people seeing this and thinking it is OK to handle bats.

True, because folks freak out easily and may hurt the bats while handling and the bat defensively tries to bite, he should've worn gloves at least and mentioned that gloves are important to wear... at least if the little guys try to bite those who are handling them they won't be as startled as they'll have the psychological barrier of wearing a thick leather glove. Drawback to that is that the (inexperienced) handler might accidentally crush the bat by squeezing too tight.
While I agree that the video might give people the wrong impression that it's okay to handle these wonderful creatures, it's likely most will not.
The guy has to be given a pat on the back for being positive and trying to "educate" folks. He had a good base understanding of the creatures and spoke positively about them (except for the "possible rabies" crack :roll: ).
