Third Annual Indiana Bat Festival

Postby LauraHohman » Jul 20, 2009 10:00 am

Since the last two years have been such a success, Indiana State University will once again be hosting the Indiana Bat Festival. This year's festival will feature live bat and bird programs, talks by leading bat experts, conservation exhibits, inflatable cave for exploration, activities for children, book authors, bat house information, bat merchandise, an evening barbecue, and bat science night. In addition, we have arranged for a Project Underground educators' workshop to be run during the bat festival day activities.

Barbecued bats! Now that sounds good. :big grin:

Reminds me of the recipes published by the Huntsville Grotto in their April issue many years ago. Quite a few folks were indignant and furious.

Chevy Chase liked to chomp on them in the "The Three Amigos"

I think blind fish and crawdads would be more heart healthy
