Guano happens

I just found out last night that a friend of mine has a bat colony in his apartment building. You can smell them from the parking lot, they ar in the eaves of the roof at one end. I went tonight to watch them fly at 8:45. Not sure what kind they are, but there is a huge colony of mexican free-tails at the university's bat house. Gee these little guys were loud too. and lot's of them.
