"Please excuse the screams, there's a bat in here."

Postby Scott McCrea » Mar 26, 2008 7:11 am

I had to call my credit card company this morning. The representative introduced himself and then said, "Please excuse the screams, there's a bat in here." (Chase call center, Houston, TX) Sure enough, I could hear shreaks of terror in the background. This guy stayed pretty calm. At one point, he even said, "Oh, he's right above my head." :bananabat:

Hope they managed to allow it to get outside so it can go free. Hope they didn't do what folks would normally do and try to kill it.

When I worked for a food production facility, we'd just direct them into progessively cooler areas until they got docile enough to be netted and carried out. (Once they made it into the main facility there would be little to no chance of gently directing them back out on their own.) I never saw any of them get visibly injured by the process.
