WARSAW - About 37,000 bats were hibernating in a former German World War I Bunker near the Polish city of Gorzow Wielkopolski, the Polish news agency PAP reported on Monday.

Scientists from Poland, Britain, Norway, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic had counted the animals at the weekend - about 5,000 more than the previous year.

The number of bats had increased mainly due to the mild winter.

It is not Polish.
It is either bunker in Western Poland or German (Nazi) bunker.
Germans built it on their territory which now belongs to Poland.
And it was built right before World War II
