I have no idea if this is semi-good news or bad news. It's hard to extrapolate to what this means to total bat populations. On the one hand, any bat death is unfortunate, but on the other, we're all hypocrites if we don't recognize the power we use and no matter how it's generated, it will have some impact. The question is, to me, what is tolerable for what is gained.
