Thing is... this was a bat in the passenger cabin. Something that hasn't been discussed is the luggage compartment... which, like the passenger compartment, is pressurized.

Even if it wasn't pressurized, studies from the "Bat Bomb" experiments of WWII show that bats (at least Mexican Free-Tailed bats, that is) can survive in hibernation at high altitude and low temps.
