Bat Research and Survey
Posted: Sep 24, 2010 6:27 pmI am an Environmental Education Specialist at Soldier Hollow Charter School in Midway, UT. Our students will be conducting a great deal of bat research throughout the year. One project in particular will be to identify the bat roosting locations in the Provo River Watershed and monitor the populations with visual counts of emerging bats and bat detection equipment. In an attempt to begin this (and future) projects the students have created a survey that includes questions of background knowledge, attitudes, and roosting locations.
