A large wind turbine farm in Spring Valley, Nevada will probably kill many Mexican free-tail bats that roost in Rose Mine Cave. Read story at:

That was a well written article and it's good to see that environmental issues are being addressed while "green" power initiatives are not being shut down
over conservation issues. Hopefully technology will assure that both conservation issues and green power initiatives will be able to coexist in the future.
Obviously we need both energy and conservation and hopefully a win-win situation will result for the wind power project mentioned in the article.
