How to make lists and quotes in posts

Postby Wayne Harrison » Sep 13, 2005 7:44 am

Use the List and List= buttons when making a post to use the list function. (Highlight what you want the list to cover, by clicking and dragging your mouse over it and then click List or List=):

Code: Select all

lim
way
nun
produces:

 • lim
 • way
 • nun

Code: Select all

lim
way
nun
produces:

 1. lim
 2. way
 3. nun

Code: Select all

lim
way
nun
produces:

 1. lim
 2. way
 3. nun

To make quotes, copy a quote and paste it, or hit the "quote" button in some else's post which does the same thing.

If you copy a quote and past it, you then highlight it with your mouse by clicking and dragging and then hit the quote button:

Code: Select all
This is a quote from Ralph
Produces:

This is a quote from Ralph

To use the name of the person quoted, add ="Ralph" to the first quote box:

Code: Select all
This is a quote from Ralph
produces:

Ralph wrote:This is a quote from Ralph

To show BB or HTML code in your post, highlight the section and hit the Code button.

Code: Select all
<a href="somewhere.com">Click Here</a>
produces:

Code: Select all
<a href="somewhere.com">Click Here</a>
