Greetings From the N.Georgia area!

Hey all, my name is Adam. My friends call me Buzz. Im not new to caving just new to the forums. I have been caving since 16. Most of it in Pettyjohns and a couple horizontal holes on family property. Have been rappeling for a long time {above ground}. Just recently got back in to this sorta thing. Its such a blast.
I recently have purchased all new gear. New helmet, light, ropewalker, harness, qas, bags, packs and descenders. {Gee did all that really break my bank~} Just joined the NSS, and looking to join a local grotto soon.. I missed the meeting last week.
i really enjoy reading the forums here. I am finding alot of useful, funny, and sometimes not so useful but entertaining info here! Not to mention alot of friendly peeps that share in the same interests that i do.
So i had the privelage of going into Stephens gap the other day. What and amazing place that was. It had rained several days so the waterfall there was gorgeous. We rigged the "keyhole" and landed on the pedestal. The whole place was flowing with water.
SO here i am looking to meet new friends, have new ventures, and share it all with yall!

Hey Adam, welcome to the forum! Stephens Gap was my first big rappel so I know what you're talking about... it is amazing. I almost could call it my first drop ever, but we dropped Pipeside on the way up to Stephens Gap. What a COOL place.

So which grotto are you looking to join up with? What part of the state are you in?

IM looking into the Chattanooga grotto. I live like 10 minutes from chattanooga. Ive actually met a few people here and there that are members of the chatt. grotto. I was doing alot of rappeling at eagles nest and running into alot of peeps there.
