David K. Brummett (Norman. OK) maybe?

Postby mark storaasli » Aug 25, 2008 2:17 am

B.S. thesis "Geology of the Hoffman Park Molybdenum Occurrence, Chaffee Co. Colorado" I think?

I might be an old caver- maybe not - what was/is Dave's NSS # you recall? Seen him since 1970? Thanks!

Mark;

I was in the Army with a "Dave Brummett" back in the early Sixties. We caved around Huntsville and N. Alabama-- Tumbling Rock, etc. We were in Germany together after that but I lost track of Dave in the summer of 1963.

You can search for him here: http://www.caves.org/membersearch/
but, I didn't find him. I can check the dropped members list tomorrow.

Dave Brummett had the only NSS number I'd ever encountered...and he was certain its significance would carry his self
unto the immortality that it might have encumbered his "self" with? The non-existence of David in the records of the
society is curious at first glance, increasingly disheartening thereafter...thanks, Mark
