Hey folks, Scott here. I'm 38, used to cave often as a teen in VA, MD, and West VA. I've been in Hamilton Cave the most. My dad used to take me, now my son, who wants to be a geologist, wants me to get him underground! I'm joining the DC grotto, and I hope to meet some people who can find the time to go on some caving trips.
I have rock climbing and tree climbing experience which makes me pretty handy with a rope! I keep my first aid/CPR certification current, and I am a certified personal trainer and sports nutritionist. I am open to any type of caving except diving.
