The year was 1976 and I was 11 years old. My aunt was in a high school spelunking club that was an extension of the IU club hosted by a teacher at North Central High School in Indianapolis, IN. My aunt invited my mother and I on some trips including Buckners, Ellers, Trap Door... 31 years later I still enjoy every trip as much as the very first!

I live in the Indianapolis area to this day. I am a single dad. The kids are great cavers. I am always willing to go caving; with or with out the kids as opportunities arise. Please, if you need another body to tag along; drop me a note. I don't mind taking long road trips to get underground.

Some of the best times I have had is with the kids. Awesome to see them overcome a difficult passage transition just like I did 30 some years ago.

Just hanging out after a hard day of caving and tossing a few back without having to keep track of anything but how much ice is in the cooler can be very relaxing.

Greetings from the "Heart of Hoosierland"...Elwood. My grotto will have an annual Boy Scout trip comming up sometime in september or october.
