Hi
I've been caving for about a year now. I went to the NSS convention and had a great time. Cavers are such welcoming people !
I live in Toronto - there isn't much by way of caves here but there are still a few and I use them to practice and develop horizontal skills.
I travel when I can. I hope to go to Africa in 2009 and would love any info people may have re: caving in Africa.
cheers,
Ross

I second that. Welcome, Ross.

Too bad we didn't meet at the convention. I could have told you my very long "Two obese Patty's, Special Ross picking bunions on the Sesame Street bus" joke.

We do have some visitors from Africa, judging from our world map and I'm sure there are a number of well-traveled cavers on this forum who have been to Africa and can fill you in. You may need to post a separate "Need Info On Africa" thread in the General caving section because not everyone reads the Caver introductions thread.
