Hello from Maryland

Postby arin » May 22, 2007 7:21 pm

Hi everyone,
I've been caving sporadically on the east coast (and once in South Africa) since junior high and am ready to get more into it. My husband (of 1 year) is from Oregon and has spent a whole lot of time in the lava caves there. It's definitely time for the two of us to go caving together. In my past few weeks of research, I've found so many helpful people who are very generous of their time and I'm just so grateful.

Hi. Arin. Roughly where in Maryland? I live north of Baltimore and am a member of that Grotto.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for all the greetings, and for those of you I've been chatting with, Hamilton Cave was awesome! We had a great guide (plus his wingman) and so our first trip caving together was really fun. To quote my sister-in-law, we can now refer to this as our "limestone anniversary".
Dwight, we are in Montgomery County, to answer your question. For those of you in the DC grotto, see you at Hard Times!

40 miles north of DC almost puts you in Baltimore. Didn't think that trafic was that bad coming in from the west into Baltimore :-)
