Hello everyone my name is Mike. I am in the Louisville area. I am new to this message board but have been caving off and on for awhile. I am looking to get more involved and would especially like to start doing some vertical caving. If anyone is interested in planning some trips hit me up!

Mike, welcome to the forum. Did you know the NATIONAL caving convention will be just down the road from you this summer? It's in Marengo, Ind. It will be a great way to meet and great other cavers and hook up with people in your area and see some great caves.

You might be interested in attending the Indiana Cave capers this weekend http://www.caves.org/grotto/cig/pages/capers.html

The directions on the web site start from SR 64 (not I64) at Marengo. It's always a good event and a good place to make new contacts. It should be less than an hours drive from you.

I think Scott meant to say Memorial Day Weekend not Labor Day . . . did you start celebrating "Cinco de Mayo" a bit early? :beer30:
